2006 -2015 MX5 Engine Mount Kit and Engine Brace

Engine mount and engine brace combination kit by AWR Racing. Our trusted Engine mounts and engine brace as a package! There is no substitute for the AWR engine mount with stiff polyurethane bushings. Completely new fabricated steel heavy duty replacement engine mounts are manufactured here at our facility in San Diego, California. Available in ultra soft 62 durometer, soft 70 durometer, medium 88 durometer and stiffer 95 durometer Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings. Laser cut and CNC folded, tig welded in house, powder coated silver for a very durable finish. This kit helps stop drive train lash (rocking) when transitioning from on / off throttle. Help keep that engine stable inside that engine compartment, putting the power to the ground instead of rocking the engine and missing shifts. Provides a more direct throttle response and more precise gear selections. This motor mount set is specifically designed for the installation of the 2.5 liter motor into the MX5 chassis. This allows the motor to be at it's lowest position without interfering with the sub frame. AWR's engine brace is provided with 70 durometer and 88 durometer bushings. 70 durometer is installed in the brace, 88 durometer is supplied and recommended for track builds. This item mounts on the passenger side of the car. It attaches to the right front shock tower and to the right front side of the head. This brace is adjustable. Powder coated black wirh nickel plated adjusters. Excellent item to also help improve crispness and provide more precise shifting. Helps settle the motor down with Mazda's drive train design. Bushings for engine mount: 62 - 70 durometer is recommended for daily driving with little to no mods. 70 - 88 durometer is recommended for lightly to intermediate modification levels. 88 - 95 durometer is recommended for highly modified street and track builds.
