Recommendation:

We highly recommend to get a new crank bolt when installing your new Fluidampr on the FA20 engine. Due to the OEM bolt being a torque to yield (TTY) bolt. TTY bolts are designed to stretch permanently during installation to achieve precise clamping force and are typically a one time use item. It should not be reused during this installation, an improperly torqued crank bolt could potentially lead to a catastrophic engine failure that we feel is easily prevented by using brand new hardware.
